THE HOUSE
Welcome to rent our holiday home in the best south-facing location with a large terrace and sea view! The house is 64 squaremeter, locaded on Tynningö, an archipelago island about one hour from Stockholm and just a stone's throw from beautiful Vaxholm.
We are a French-Swedish couple with four children living outside Stockholm. We love to welcome guests to our seafront house to discover Sweden and the beautiful archipelago of Stockholm.
We use the house ourselves as a holiday home during the weeks that the house is not rented out. We have renovated the house in recent years, including painting the walls inside, changing worktops and white goods in the kitchen and drilling a new well.
THREE WAYS TO GET TO TYNNINGÖ

Car from Stockholm to Norra Lagnö 20 minutes +
carferry from Norra Lagnö to Tynningö 10 minutes.
2.
Waxholmsboat from Stockholm to Tynningö 60 minutes or
waxholmsboat from Vaxholm to Tynningö 10 minutes.
3.
Bus from Stockholm to Vaxholm 50 minutes + boat or bus from Stockholm to Norra Lagnö 50 minutes + carferry 10 minutes.
OVERVIEW
WITH CAR FROM STOCKHOLM
Car from Slussen in Stockholm to Norra Lagnö in Värmdö: 20 minutes.
Free carferry between Norra Lagnö in Värmdö and Tynningö: 10 minutes. Timetable carferry: Tynningöleden.
Car from the carferry to the house: 6 minutes.
Carferry runs two-tree times per day between 6.00 am to 23.00 pm. Early in the mornings or late in the evening you have to call the ferry 10 minutes before departure and ask them to drive. Phone number: +46(0)771656565.
WITH WAXHOLMSBOAT FROM STOCKHOLM
Pedestrian boat, see timetable Waxholmsbolaget, from Strömkajen in Stockholm to Tynningö Höganäs: 1 hour.
For some Waxholmsboats, but not all, there is a corresponding local bus 689 driving across the island, see timetable bus 689 from Höganäs.
Jump of at bus stop number 11, Tynningövägen 64.
If you do not have a corresponding bus to your Waxholmsboat, you can walk 30 minutes to the house, see map to walk Höganäs-House.
If you start from Arlanda, take the train, see timetable Arlanda Express to Stockholm City: 20 minutes.
From Arlanda Express in Stockholm City you walk 20 minutes to Strömkajen for the boat, see map to walk Stockholm City-Strömkajen.
Instead of walking, you can go one station with the blue subway from Stockholm City to Kungsträdgården, see timetable blue subway, and then walk to Strömkajen fo the boat, see map to walk Kungsträdgården-Strömkajen.

WITH BUS FROM STOCKHOLM + BOAT
Bus via Vaxholm
Bus 670 from Tekniska högskolan in Stockholm to Vaxholm: 50 minutes, see timetable bus 670.
Pedestrian Waxholmsboat, see timetable from Vaxholm to Höganäs: 5 minutes.
For some Waxholmsboats, but not all, there is a corresponding local bus 689 driving across the island, see timetable bus 689.

If you start from Arlanda, take the train,timetable Arlanda Express, to Stockholm City: 20 minutes.
From Stockholm City you take subway to Tekniska Högskolan from where you have the bus to Vaxholm.

Please notice
Sometimes you find Waxholmsboat from Vaxholm to Norra Tynningö, Orrlunda or Norehill instead of Höganäs. Please make sure you have a corresponding bus or possibilities to walk if you choose these destinations on Tynningö instead of Höganäs.
If you arrive late at night when there are no pedestrian boats or carferry, there is still a possibility to go to the island with taxiboat from Vaxholm. They can drive you to Ormungens Brygga just next to our house. The taxiboat from Vaxholm will take only 10 minutes. It will cost approximately 500 SEK. Please reserve your taxiboat in advance to make sure they can drive you, phone: +46(0)70 600 61 00, see Waxholm Water Taxi.
Bus via Gustavsberg (possible but not recomended due to many transport changes and possible long waitingtime)
Bus 474 from Slussen in Stockholm to Gustavsberg and change to bus 424H in Gustavsberg to Norra Lagnö: 50 minutes, see timetable bus 474 + bus 424H. Free carferry between Norra Lagnö in Värmdö and Tynningö: 10 minutes. Timetable carferry: Tynningöleden.
Local bus 689 drives 4-8 times per day, see timetable bus 689 from Östra Tynningö.

If you do not have a bus when you arrive with the carferry, you can walk 45 minutes to the house, see map to walk Carferry-House.

TYNNINGÖ
Tynningö is characterized by beautiful nature, bicycle- and walking-friendly roads. There are nice excursion destinations such as Tynningö Klack, with a view of the Stockholm archipelago.
TOURIST INFORMATION
Vaxholm, a small village with restaurants, café, gaöleries and small boutiques is redommended to visit. The short distance to Stockholm makes it possible to also visit the capital.

Check in can be done after 11:00 am.
Check out is done before 3.00 pm
Our house rules are based on each guest cleaning up after themselves and leaving the house in good condition to the next guests.
